As a Materials Handler/Slinger, you will be responsible for handling, moving, storing, and organizing materials within our warehouse or construction site. You will also assist in the operation of cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment when slinging loads for transportation.

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and movement of materials within the facility or site to ensure their availability for production and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the safe operation of cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment by preparing loads correctly and guiding them during lifting operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to materials handling.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required by management from time to time.
  • Proven experience in a materials handling or similar role.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
