• Maintaining accurate inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and other periodic checks.
• Operating a variety of machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods, adhering to service level agreements and customer requirements.
• Performing quality checks on received goods, and reporting any discrepancies or defects to the relevant parties.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising warehouse operations and reducing waste.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment by following health and safety guidelines and adhering to housekeeping policies.
• Assisting with any other warehouse-related tasks as required or directed by management.
• Proven experience in a similar night warehouse operative role is essential.
• Flexibility to work nights, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Forklift truck driver licence (counterbalance preferred) with a good understanding of safe lifting techniques and manual handling requirements.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work methodically and maintain accurate records.
