  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including wills, trust deeds, powers of attorney, and estate administration documents.
  • Manage complex estate administrations, ensuring that all aspects are handled in accordance with the client's wishes and the relevant legislation.
  • Provide support to more junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with excellent service and ensuring their needs are met.

*Skills & Experience: *

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE (Post Qualified Experience) in Private Client work within a reputable law firm.   • *Trusts Management
  • : Experience in establishing, managing, and administering various types of trusts is highly desirable. This includes discretionary trusts, life interest trusts, and settlements.
  • *Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
  • : Familiarity with LPAs, including their creation, registration, and management, will be beneficial. You should be able to advise clients on the different types of LPA and their implications.
  • *Court of Protection Work
  • : Knowledge of the Court of Protection and experience in dealing with applications under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is an advantage. This includes applications for deputyships, statutory wills, and contested matters.
  • *Client Care
