Job Routine

As a Relief Residential Support Worker within our organization, your primary responsibility is to provide care, support, and supervision to the residents in our residential facilities. Here's an outline of your typical day: Morning Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) - Arrive at the facility and sign-in, ensuring you have all necessary equipment for the shift.

  • Assist residents with their morning routines, such as bathing, dressing, and personal grooming.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring that any dietary requirements are met.
  • Facilitate group activities or one-on-one sessions designed to promote mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Monitor the residents' behavior and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.

Afternoon Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) - Serve lunch to the residents and help with any additional dietary needs.

  • Continue to engage residents in various activities, such as arts and crafts, games, or outings.
  • Assist with homework or other educational activities if required.
  • Provide support during meal times and ensure that all residents are eating appropriately.
