As a Service Advisor in our organization, your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our service department. Here are some of the day-to-day tasks you'll be responsible for:

*Customer Interaction

  • : Greet customers upon arrival, assess their needs, and schedule vehicles for service or repairs. Maintain open lines of communication with customers to keep them updated on the status of their vehicle.
  • *Scheduling and Coordination
  • : Organize service appointments effectively to maximize productivity. Allocate resources such as technicians, parts, and tools to each job based on priority and complexity.
  • *Estimating Costs
  • : Provide accurate estimates for services and repairs to customers, taking into account the labor time required, necessary parts, and any additional costs. Explain these costs clearly to the customer and obtain approval before beginning work.
  • *Liaising with Technicians
  • : Communicate with technicians about the progress of each service or repair job. Ensure that the technician understands the work that needs to be done and can complete it in a timely manner.
  • *Quality Assurance
  • : Inspect vehicles upon completion of service or repair to ensure they meet our quality standards. Address any issues found promptly and professionally with the technician responsible.
