Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the South East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of equipment at client sites.
*Responsibilities: *
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that maximize the lifespan of their equipment.
- Document all service activities and keep accurate records for future reference.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Work collaboratively with our regional team to ensure efficient service delivery across the region.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills and stay current with equipment updates.
*Qualifications: *
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with extensive experience.
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to travel as needed within the South East region (travel expenses will be covered by the organization).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with an emphasis on clear and concise technical explanations.
- Proficiency in using service management software or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, as needed to accommodate client schedules.
